Notes for parties:

  • If you are unsure of what commands to use you can type /party on its own without any arguments to see a list of commands. Moderators and leaders will see commands specific to their roles within the party. We will not go into detail on what commands you can use as you should see this list for yourself in-game to get familiar with it.
  • Leader permissions: Party leaders can add and remove moderators to/from their party, as well as invite other players, control the party privacy setting, and the party mode.
  • Party moderators: Party leaders and moderators can kick, ban and unban players to/from their party. Moderators only have access to these three actions.
  • Party privacy settings: A party can either be public (allowing any non-banned player to simply join) or private, which will require players to be invited by the party leader in order to successfully join.
  • Party gameplay modes: The available party modes are party (default) and cruiseA mode for drift tandems is planned, but no solid ETA as of right now.
  • The cruise mode adds markers to the party leader for the members of the party, and prevents them from overtaking the leader by limiting their speed depending on how close they are to the leader. If a player is too far from the leader (not within the leaders' scope) then an automatic GPS route will be set to the last-known position of the party leader unless they have a waypoint set (see below).
  • Party leader waypoints: The party leader can set a waypoint down and the waypoint will be synced/visible to all members of the party. This is useful for coordinating cruises to certain locations, or arranging a meet somewhere. If the party is in cruise mode, when the party leader arrives at their waypoint, the automatic leader GPS route will kick-in for all party members - so when the leaders' waypoint disappears, members will still have a route to the final destination (or wherever the leader goes after that).
  • There's a slight gotcha, though. There is a limit to how many members a party can have at any given time, depending on supporter tier. This is to prevent players from exhausting server resources with many parties at once, and there may be a future global limit to how many unique parties can be active at the same time. See below for a list of current limitations on a per-tier basis.

Max party member limitations:

  • Regular players (without a supporter subscription): 5 members
  • First-tier supporters: 10 members
  • Super supporters: 15 members
  • Extreme supporters: 25 members
  • Ultimate supporters: 50 members
