Developer nex 416 Posted July 31, 2021 Developer Share Posted July 31, 2021 (edited) A lot of you like to share your screenshots with the rest of us, and we greatly appreciate that as it shows-off the creativity that can be achieved on our servers. However, with the many images that the gallery has today, we must set some needed rules to regulate the gallery and keep it under control, or else storage limits will be reached and the gallery will be slow, or worse, disabled. Below is a list of rules that everyone should follow at all times when submitting images to the gallery: Image upload limits to counteract spam - Make sure you've selected a few (no more than 5) of your favourite images to upload as this will be the new limit. We've seen a lot of you upload several images to the gallery in one go, and while we don't really care much, it uses storage and therefore increases costs. Increased compression - To help reduce the amount of storage that we use, we've further tweaked the compression ratios. This will decrease the amount of storage needed to store your images, while keeping 90% of the quality. You won't be able to tell the difference Failure to follow these rules will result in your posting privileges being suspended for all areas across the forum.
